In 1685 Constantia was established as a wine region in South Africa between False Bay and Hout Bay by the Governor of the Cape, Simon Van der Stel. The perfect location for cool climate wines. A top quality 100% Chardonnay Methode Cap Classique. The grapes are
selected from a single block located on the lower slopes of Klein Constantia.
Three different batches were harvested early in the season to ensure complexity,
freshness, fruit and intensity.
Light and vibrant in appearance. A lively bouquet of lemon zest and briche flavours abound the nose. The upfront palate boasts precise bubbles, a fine and delicate mouse and rich buttery flavours concluding with a crisp, long and zesty finish.
