There's a slight sweetness and very slight canned asparagus aspect to this. But the finish is long and the acidity is fine and impressive. Long.

Grape Variety:

Sauvignon Blanc

In 1685 Constantia was established as a wine region in South Africa between False Bay and Hout Bay by the Governor of the Cape, Simon Van der Stel. The perfect location for cool climate wines. A top quality 100% Chardonnay Methode Cap Classique. The grapes are
selected from a single block located on the lower slopes of Klein Constantia.
Three different batches were harvested early in the season to ensure complexity,
freshness, fruit and intensity.

A bright and light Sauvignon Blanc in appearance. The nose is perfumed & floral - displaying aromas of oak spice, vanilla, gooseberries, green fig and orange zest. A lively
and expressive palate follows with ripe citrus and blackcurrant flavours. Rich and textured. An elegant and zesty acidity aids in a fresh long saline finish.
