From the slopes of Saint-Joseph in the Northern Rhône, this wine expresses the elegance and power of Syrah from the right-bank Rhône. Grapes are hand-picked. The colour is deep ruby, and on the nose it gives cassis, dark berries, spice, smoke and minerality. On the palate the texture is smooth and voluptuous, supported by fine silky tannins. The finish is long and poised for aging. It pairs beautifully with rich meats, game, grilled dishes and mature cheeses.
